12-11-25   THOUGHTS

We continue from yesterday.  Access into the Holy of Holies is our topic.  A new and alive WAY has been paved. The   “prohibitive” veil has given way to the  “ NEW ACCESSIBLE WAY THAT IS CHRIST JESUS”!   Setting the beauty of verse 19-23 next to 24-25 doesn’t seem acceptable.  Yet that’s exactly what the Spirit did!   Access to God is related to God’s  Love Fellowship, the Church.  The context holds.  The arguments against using verse 25 as a command have over time allowed most to give verse 25 a “non-grata” status. They are indeed Spirit words.  

Heb 10:19-25   Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus,  20  by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21  and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22  let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23  Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful;  24  and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, 25  not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Our Prayer:
Father, thank You for allowing us into Your very presence!  Thank you for Jesus paving that living way.  Help us each to not take this awesome privilege for granted. Give us a powerful drawing near to abide in Your very presence.   Help us to hold all of  Your words with reverence and submission.   We pray in the name of Jesus,   Amen.
